After 6 years spent at Unilever and Reckitt Benckiser, Ilija Šetka came to his favorite beer industry, joining the Belgian Interbrew right after the purchase of the Apatin Brewery in 2003. In 2008, he was entrusted with the position of Apatinska Pivara CEO, as well as the position of regional president of the AB InBev group for operations in Serbia and Montenegro. Ilija spent five successful years in those positions and achieved record business results, followed by two successful changes in company ownership (ABInBev – CVC – Molson Coors). After that, he became the Director General of the leading dairy industry in the region, the Imlek AD company, where he remained until the end of 2017.

In October 2019, Ilija was appointed general director of Banja Luka Brewery.

In addition to his business career, he is actively involved in rock music as an author and singer. He recorded 3 albums with the bands Hypnotized and Moreuz and had notable performances at the biggest festivals in the region.
